Volunteers

Everyone Is Welcome

The National Council of Jewish Women, founded in 1895, is a membership organization informed by Jewish values and committed to creating meaningful action at the local and state levels to help those most in need, or provide “tikkun olam” (repairing the world) and justice for all. Across nationalities, religions, genders, and backgrounds, together more than 5,000 members and supporters work to improve the lives of women, children, and families by advancing social and economic justice through education, advocacy, and community service.

NCJW offers volunteers the opportunity to take action, become a positive force for social change and simply enjoy the company of progressive, like-minded women.  Through advocacy, education and community service efforts, NCJW members work every day to amplify the voices of those without a microphone.  Please review our Programs and Projects to find your place with the Kendall Section.
